You’ll soon be able to grab multiple Fallout games for free later this month, and it sounds like now might be the right time to start playing.
With Amazon bringing its Fallout TV series back for a second season in December, I’d imagine there’s going to be a significant uptick in the amount of players the games will receive.
Fortunately, Amazon is making it easy for newbies to get into the series by giving away two Fallout games with its Prime Gaming subscription service at no extra cost.
Prime Gaming is essentially an additional benefit for anyone with an active Amazon Prime subscription, in which you can claim any games available on the service and add them to your account. Then, for as long as you keep your subscription, you’ll be able to play them.

On 16th October, Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition will be available on Prime Gaming. This version of the game includes all DLC, and considering the show is set to head to New Vegas in its second season, it might be the perfect starting point for new players.
Meanwhile, Amazon will also add Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition to Prime Gaming a week later on 23rd October. Similar to New Vegas, this release includes the five DLC expansions that were released for the game post-launch.
The second season of Fallout premieres on Prime Video on 17th December. So if you are a newcomer to the series, that gives you two months to play the games and become familiar with the setting.
Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas are two of the most popular games in the series to play, so you can’t go wrong with this deal if you’re an Amazon Prime subscriber.
Meanwhile, Amazon is also adding a bunch of other games to Prime Gaming. Here’s the full list of games that will be available to grab for free this month:
