While we’re still a way off the next entry in the Mass Effect series, fans will soon be able to display their love for the best instalment to date, Mass Effect 2.
While I’m sure there are occasional outliers, the vast majority of gamers agree that Mass Effect 2 is the undisputed king of the franchise. Heck, it’s one of the best sci-fi games of all-time.
It boasts a great combat system, a likeable cast of characters, and an engaging story that has welcomed replayability with its choice-based system.
Hopefully, BioWare will tap back into this instalment's magic amid the development of Mass Effect 5.

With that game years away though, fans will have to settle in the meantime for getting their hands on an awesome new series of collectibles.
BioWare, as reported by Comic Book, has partnered up with the beloved Dark Horse team to launch two new collectible statues based on Mass Effect 2.
One is of Miranda Lawson and the other is of Mordin Solus.
The Miranda statue will set you back $54.99 whereas the Mordin statue costs $64.99. There’s a very good reason for that price difference though.
Miranda stands at 8.5 inches tall whereas Mordin is 9 inches tall. More plastic equals a higher price.
Miranda Lawson is one of Mass Effect 2’s key characters with this Cerberus officer having led the project to bring back Commander Shepard in the game’s opening stages.

“Miranda Lawson, one of the galaxy’s most iconic Cerberus operatives and biotics, is ready to help lead your Mass Effect collection,” Dark Horse states.
“Standing at 8.5-inches tall, this figure captures Miranda as she raises her pistol with composed authority.
“Every detail, from the sleek white-and-black suit to her calm, collected expression, reflects her engineered perfection—even if that perfection has set her apart as much as it has empowered her.”
Mordin Solas, on the other hand, is a Salarian geneticist that players can recruit ahead of the infamous ‘Suicide Mission’ - and a firm fan-favourite.

“Once an STG operative who helped shape the genophage, Mordin Solus became a beloved member of the Normandy crew through his brilliance, complexity, and disarming humor,” begins the collectible’s description.
“Standing at 9 inches tall, this highly detailed figure captures Mordin in his unforgettable moment serenading Shepard with a fan-favorite song. A loose seashell is included and can be placed at the base for ‘testing purposes’—or wherever you like.”
The statues are available to pre-order now via Dark Horse’s website with it noted that they’ll aim to ship sometime between November 2026 and January 2027 which is quite a vague window.
Dark Horse does ship to many worldwide territories and, in fact, both statues appear to be on sale at the time of writing, so you may be able to secure a sweet discount.
On the UK site, the figures are down from £53.77 to £49.93. Pricing will vary by region.
There’s no word on how long the sale is sticking around for.
