Everybody’s favourite Norse god may have just met his bitter, and brutal end, courtesy of a new Marvel event and yes, it is as shocking as it seems.

Unlike the average human, a superhero’s death does not always mean the end. We have seen that over the years courtesy of countless MCU entries but it seems like this new project may just spin that narrative on its head.

Check out the official Deadpool & Wolverine trailer before it hits cinemas this summer!

Marvel: Blood Hunt #1 is the first volume in the new Blood Hunt graphic novel series from the Marvel Universe. Written by Jed MacKay with art from Pepe Larraz, the first volume kicks off in style.

“The skies have gone dark, the sun hiding its face from the carnage to come. The children of the night, the vampires, have risen from the dark and hidden places of the world as one to drown the Marvel Universe in blood,” the official synopsis reads.

Earth’s final night has fallen, can even the heroes of this doomed world stem the tide of blood that is to come?

Join the Avengers, Blade, Bloodline, Spider-Man, Hunter’s Moon, Tigra, Doctor Strange and Clea as the dance of death begins in Blood Hunt #1!”

This blood-soaked comic will spell the end for some of our favourite superheroes and they will meet their bloody ends. However, they won’t stay dead for long and will return as blood-sucking vampires and all that happens in just the first chapter.

So, if you have always wanted to see Thor and his fellow Avengers as vampires, then Marvel: Blood Hunt #1 is a graphic novel for you.

In related superhero news, Deadpool & Wolverine is rumoured to feature the best action sequences since The Winter Soldier when it releases across cinemas on 26 July.
