Hello Games’ upcoming RPG Light No Fire has just dropped a new teaser, signalling to fans that an update may be coming soon.
Light No Fire was announced by Hello Games head Sean Murray back at The Game Awards 2023, but we haven’t heard much of the game since then.
However, this may be about to change following a new cryptic tease from Murray on social media, simply using emojis to tease at a possible incoming announcement.
The first teaser consists of an orange safety vest emoji, and nothing more. The second post features the same emoji, but this time appearing three times. Who knows what that could mean, but people have their theories.

As many have already speculated, this cryptic teaser could be a hint at some news for Light No Fire.
“Please Sean. I need more information on Light No Fire. Please, it's been over two years,” reads one comment underneath the post.

Could This Be A Teaser For Light No Fire Or The Next No Man's Sky Update?
However, others believe it could be a teaser for the next No Man’s Sky update, which may add to or overhaul the base building system, hence the orange jacket emoji.
For now though, Hello Games has not specified what the next update for No Man’s Sky will be, so we can only take guesses for the time being.

As for Light No Fire, the game received a lot of attention when it was first revealed at The Game Awards 2023.
It’s an upcoming survival game similar to No Man’s Sky, but instead of you surfing different planets and star systems, you’re confined to a single planet along with every other player in the game.
This planet is allegedly “larger than Earth” and will be procedurally generated for all players, essentially converting No Man’s Sky’s sci-fi gameplay into a fantasy setting like The Elder Scrolls or The Lord of the Rings.
There’s no rough release date or window for Light No Fire yet, but given that the game is allegedly going to be a lot more ambitious than No Man’s Sky, it could still be a year or two away.
Our money is on 2027, with a new teaser coming on No Man’s Sky’s 10th anniversary, which occurs in August later this year. But that's just a guess.
