Reddick was loved by cinemagoers and gamers alike for his stellar performances in tv, film and video games. In the Destiny series, he played Commander Zavala - fans have been paying tribute to him in-game since his death was announced. He also played Sylens in Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West.

The actor reprised his role as Charon in the upcoming John Wick: Chapter 4, which is releasing in cinemas on 24 March. As Entertainment Weekly reports, John Wick star Keanu Reeves and director Chad Stahelski have now confirmed that the film will be dedicated to Reddick.

“We are deeply saddened and heartbroken at the loss of our beloved friend and colleague Lance Reddick,” Reeves and Stahelski told Entertainment Weekly in a statement. “He was the consummate professional and a joy to work with. Our love and prayers are with his wife Stephanie, his children, family and friends. We dedicate the film to his loving memory. We will miss him dearly.”

Film studio Lionsgate, which has distributed all four John Wick movies up to this point, also released a statement following the news of Reddick’s death. It wrote: “The world of Wick would not be what it is without Lance Reddick and the unparalleled depth he brought to Charon's humanity and unflappable charisma. Lance leaves behind an indelible legacy and hugely impressive body of work, but we will remember him as our lovely, joyful friend and Concierge. We're stunned and heartbroken, and our deepest condolences go to his beloved family and his fans all around the world.”

Here at GAMINGbible, our thoughts go out to Reddick’s family and friends at this difficult time - may he rest in peace.
