Hey, you. Wanna play something like Hogwarts Legacy without the ever-present moral dilemma of supporting someone like JK Rowling? We understand.

Fortunately there are plenty of games out there that let you get your magic on in a big way, including a gorgeous MMORPG that's finally making its way to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. It's essentially a blend of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Hogwarts Legacy, but even that might be oversimplifying it to be honest.

Check it out below!

There's a very good chance you've already heard of Black Desert, given it's played by over 20 million people. Developer Pearl Abyss promises you'll "experience intense, action-packed combat, battle massive world bosses, fight alongside friends to siege and conquer castles, and train in professions such as fishing, trading, crafting, cooking, and more!" There's a lot to do, in other words.

Black Desert is already available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, of course, but Pearl Abyss has now announced it intends to release and enhanced version for new-gen consoles. Not only that, but we can expect an entirely new region to explore and a butt-load of new content.

The current plan is to release the PS5/Xbox Series X/S versions in late 2024 after showing it off in more detail over Summer. What's more, the new region (which is inspired by Korea) will include new bosses and a new class. It is, I assume, very exciting for fans of Black Desert. All I can do is assume as I must admit I've never played. Looks like a good time, though!

While we're here it's probably also worth me noting that Black Desert is currently 90 percent off on Steam, meaning you can pick it up for 89p. Again, I don't know much about the game, but 89p for a popular MMORPG seems like a pretty good deal. I might have to take a peek.
