The PlayStation-exclusive quest is ‘The Haunted Hogsmeade Shop’ and it is currently available to all those that purchase Hogwarts Legacy on PS5 and for PS4 when it releases on 5 May.

A Reddit user by the name of sunnysonja had recently played 'The Haunted Hogsmeade Shop' quest and it seems they may have been somewhat traumatised.

“Minding Your Own Business Side Quest (PlayStation exclusive?) F*#% this quest! *Spoilers*” posted the Redditor.

The Reddit user has kindly included a spoiler filter on the post, so please be wary if you want to uncover it. Obviously, if you haven't finished or even started the PlayStation-exclusive content, you might want to avoid the comments in the Reddit thread. That being said, I will not post any spoilers in the body of this article.

“This quest was one of my favourite surprises from this game so far. That s*** was a creepy mind f*** and I did not expect it at all, haha. I loved it,” replied Voluptulouis.

'The Haunted Hogsmeade Shop' is a quest that is “built into the core game and can be discovered by any witch or wizard playing on PlayStation,” says a post on the PlayStation Blog.

“Cassandra Mason has a shop to sell you in Hogsmeade, but all is not as it seems in this run-down establishment,” continues the post. “What sinister secrets lie beneath Madam Mason’s shop and why was she so keen to sell it?”

In recent Hogwarts Legacy news, not-so-kind players were using the Wingardium Leviosa to torment in-game cats. Thankfully, the developers at Avalanche Software were swiftly on the case and let the cats fight back in a genius way.

Hogwarts Legacy is out now for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It will then release on 5 May for PS4 and Xbox One, followed by Nintendo Switch on 25 July.
