The Hogwarts Legacy multiplayer mod now supports up to 10 players. So, can we have an official DLC already?

Hogwarts Legacy is an action RPG set within the Wizarding World. Taking place during the late 1800s, before the likes of Fantastic Beasts and Harry Potter, Hogwarts Legacy allows players to explore its universe like never before.

However, other than wanting Quidditch DLC, fans have also been longing for the game to feature multiplayer co-op. While it seems that neither WB Games or Avalanche Software have any plans to make that happen, talented modders have been hard at work to bring that dream to fruition.

Together Reborn, the team responsible for the awesome Skyrim multiplayer mod have now worked their magic in Hogwarts Legacy. Initially, the ‘HogWarp’ multiplayer mod for PC supported up to eight players. As reported by Comicbook.com, Together Reborn has now improved its multiplayer mod by upping the player count from eight to 10. What’s more, seeing as the mod is still during its early stages of development, this won't be the end of Together Reborn improving on what is already a fantastic mod.

At the time of writing, this mod is not available to download for the general public. So there are likely a lot of kinks to resolve before it's ready for a proper release. However, seeing as this mod is already at this stage, despite Hogwarts Legacy only releasing less than a month ago, hopefully, we won't be waiting too long.

In related news, Sony recently released a limited edition Hogwarts Legacy PS5 controller. Sadly, as you can imagine, stock was in short supply and scalpers seized the opportunity to make grotesque profits at the expense of desperate fans.

Hogwarts Legacy is out now for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. As for last-gen and Nintendo Switch owners, you’ll have to be a little more patient. Hogwarts Legacy's PS4 and Xbox One release date is 4 April, and then it arrives for Nintendo Switch on 25 July.
