Official modding support for Hogwarts Legacy just landed on PC last night in the latest patch for the game, but a new tease from one of the game’s developers implies that another special piece of content is still on its way.

Chandler Wood, community manager at WB Games Avalanche, took to Twitter yesterday to show off the latest additions to Hogwarts Legacy in a live stream.

However, as one eagle-eyed viewer spotted, Wood’s intro actually held a little tease of its own.

Right behind Wood in the opening shot of the live stream, you can see a little sign that reads “Stop looking for secrets! Nothing hidden here.”

Just behind that, you can see a slightly obscured piece of artwork. Benjamin Snow, a popular Hogwarts Legacy YouTuber, followed this up by revealing that “the poster behind the white board is from a thumbnail to the trailer of a missing Documentary”.

Enjoy a tour of Hogwarts' four house common rooms.

Ok, bear with me, we’re almost at the end of the breadcrumb trail. The “missing documentary” Snow is referring to is the upcoming feature The Wizardry Behind Hogwarts Legacy, which was announced back in September 2023 with the release of a teaser trailer (the very same trailer that Snow is referencing in their Tweet).

The Wizardry Behind Hogwarts Legacy was supposed to come out back in 2024, but news regarding the documentary has been somewhat light since it missed its vaguely non-defined release window.

However, Chandler Wood’s tease seems to imply that it is still very much on its way, potentially even closer than we might have assumed given that the team at WB Games Avalanche has finished with the much-awaited patch for the game.

Personally, I’d expect this one to drop out of nowhere at any point in the next few days given all the teases here, and we’ll make sure to let you know as soon as it does.
