There have already been rumours of a big PlayStation State Of Play coming this March (so, any time from tomorrow, then), and now it seems Hogwarts Legacy may be a part of it. The rumours started last week when journalist Tom Henderson - notorious for having a scoop or two in gaming circles - tweeted, "Not a scoop or anything... But surely PlayStation has to be doing *something* in March?"
This was backed up a day later by another notable man in the know, Shpeshal Nick from XboxEra, who added: "Yes, they’ve got a show in March. This is supposed to be 'the good one'.” However, despite two separate reliable sources coming to the same conclusion, no concrete details - such as a specific date or what will be shown - have yet been confirmed by Sony itself.
Here's how we first got to see Hogwarts Legacy - its reveal trailer of 2020...
Alongside these State of Play rumblings, a number of rumours surrounding the Harry Potter-themed Hogwarts Legacy have also started appearing over the past few months. Before Warner Bros. officially announced that the game would be coming out this year, Twitter user AccountNGT was already on the case. They previously predicted the existence of (the now confirmed) Star Wars Eclipse, and have shared many predictions surrounding Legacy too.

They predicted a 1 September 2022 release date, before images from the art book appeared to confirm it. Now, by simply quote-tweeting the State Of Play predictions with an emoji of a wand, it seems the insider is pointing to upcoming Hogwarts Legacy information being included in the March showcase.
Account NGT previously mentioned a gameplay trailer would be coming soon, and the showcase would be the perfect place to reveal it. The last we saw of the game was back in 2020 with the reveal trailer. However, the game's reportedly had a shaky development period, hence the lack of updates.
