With the majority of Hogwarts Legacy taking place within Hogwarts itself, it is perhaps no wonder that there is so much to discover. That includes one mysterious room a lot of us may have missed during our first playthrough.
It has been over a year since Avalanche Software released Hogwarts Legacy and with the RPG title taking place in Hogwarts and surrounding areas, fans of both the game and the original book series will know that there are many secrets to be found in the magical world.

That includes one room recently discovered by one player who shared it over on r/HarryPotterGame. “Where is this room?” they asked. “Can someone tell me where to find the room underneath the room with the Sphinx statue and the Depulso 2 puzzle room? As you can see here Revelio reveals 6 walls and a chest I would like to go to. I've been going round in circles for ages and it's driving me mad.”

The mysterious room in question appears to be directly beneath the room they are currently standing in. However, it wasn’t long before fellow players lent a hand and explained how to work out the puzzle.
“So turn around, go back through the History of Magic Class and head down towards the sleeping Dragon statue,” one explained. “The tapestry with the K is a door. Those blue squares are tapestries that when you cast Lumos on them they change to show the real story. Far left tapestry has a Revelio page.”
So with a few key game mechanics, the mystery has been solved but it begs the question as to how many secrets are still hidden throughout Hogwarts Legacy a year on from release?
With hidden areas that may hint at a future DLC to the recent discovery of a vital feature that would have massively helped if we knew about it from the beginning, players are finding more and more to do in Hogwarts Legacy.
