A recent job listing for GTA VI has fans losing it, and we can see why, because we’re losing it too.
When GTA VI launches next year, it will no doubt be the best-selling game of 2026 or, at the very least, close to it. Regardless, there’ll be no escaping the hype that it will surely garner.
“Vice City, USA,” begins the Grand Theft Auto VI synopsis. “Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them.”
“But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”

With the buzz for the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series building, fans are desperate for Rockstar Games to release its third highly anticipated trailer. Which will hopefully be rammed full of epic gameplay.
There’s no telling when Rockstar Games will drop GTA VI trailer three, but there’s every chance that it will be dropped on a random weekday, late in the afternoon.
Speaking of trailers, a recent job listing brought to our attention by the Twitter account ‘GTA 6 Countdown’, Rockstar Games is gearing up for a major social marketing push.
The job listing in question is for a role at Rockstar New York in Creative Services. “The Video Production Dept creates all trailers and video assets released online, on social media, on broadcast TV and in Cinema,” it reads.

What’s more, a second job listing is being advertised by Rockstar Games for a ‘Motion Graphics Artist’, with its description also reading like it could be associated with GTA VI.

The job listings lead me to believe that the content used for the marketing push could be from the GTA VI trailer. But that’s pure speculation on my part. After all, why not use content from the previous two trailers? Nonetheless, fans are hyped at the prospect.
“Super pumped!!” yelled GTA6Plus.
“Oh my god!” exclaimed LFC_Rhys18.
“Trailer three incoming, pre-orders are probably gonna be listed as well,” said a hopeful gothicdimension.

“It feels surreal that we’re getting GTA VI relatively soon. I’ve been playing GTA V nearly half my life,” revealed TageChe98.
Assuming it suffers no release date delay, Grand Theft Auto VI will arrive on 26 May 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
