GTA VI will apparently launch 28 October this year, at least thatâs what Kotaku is speculating though fans arenât convinced.
These rumours and theories are kinda getting out of hand, as it seems like everyone is desperate to narrow down the date Rockstar Games plans to launch GTA VI on, a date Rockstar probably isnât sure of itself yet.
Itâs easy to see why though, GTA VI looks phenomenal already and weâve hardly seen anything of it

Recently though Kotaku made the bold claim of not only suggesting the month of its release, but also the day itself, suggesting 28 October makes the most sense.
The publication also suggested there might be an early-access period for those who preordered that could start a few days prior, potentially 25 October.
Previously many speculated that GTA VI could arrive as soon as August this year due to the Borderlands 4 release date, as it was believed Take-Two Interactive had stated the next Borderlands would launch after the next Grand Theft Auto.
That doesnât seem to be the case though, and while 28 October does sound like the most plausible date so far fans arenât willing to sign off their calendars yet.
âNo one knows when the game will be released apart from Rockstar. Everyone else is just predicting just like usâ said one fan in a Reddit thread.
Another added that âthere are rumors everywhere and this will be one of them. GTA 6 will come out November - December IMO.â
Others were a bit more optimistic though, saying âI can see that happeningâ or âmassive if true.â
Honestly who knows at this point, it could be anytime past 1 September and weâd all have no idea until Rockstar says something. Besides thereâs still a very minor chance of delay to consider, it probably wonât happen but itâs best to not rule it out.
