Despite the first official trailer in December of last year, Grand Theft Auto 6 is still quite a way away. However, that means that fans have plenty of time to do what they do best, which is to speculate on the sheer scale this highly-anticipated game will take.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is one of the highly-anticipated games of all time thanks to it being the sixth instalment in the much-loved Grand Theft Auto franchise by Rockstar games. With it being over ten-years since the last entry, Grand Theft Auto 5, fans are more than ready to dive into the next entry but how much they will have to dive into is currently up for speculation.

Judging from the one official trailer and the hundreds of leaks released over recent years, it is safe to assume that GTA 6’s map will be huge. Expected to be even larger than Red Dead Redemption 2 which spanned the length of North America, GTA 6 is expected to be bigger and better with the game taking place in the fictional Vice City.

Inspired by Miami, and more specifically Florida and surrounding areas, the game is not only expected to feature a myriad of cities but also the surrounding areas including the Keys (Gator Keys), mountain areas, ports and more.

As a way of compiling all the map information together, one user over on r/GTA6 made a list of all the facts so far, which in turn, equal a humongous map to explore. “We all know this game will be set in Florida. What a lot of people don't know is that the game will feature surrounding states, parts of them. Mainly Georgia,” they wrote.

Although the map is yet to be confirmed or fully shown by Rockstar, the facts are adding up and with the game expected to be its biggest so far, we can expect it to blow the previous Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption entries out of the crocodile-filled water.
