After a brief hiatus, Grand Theft Auto VI leaks are back on the menu.
Rockstar Games has kept us well fed as of late, revealing both the game’s launch date (albeit a delayed one) and dropping its second trailer.
As such, so-called insiders haven’t had a fat lot to tease whilst we’ve been pouring over official materials.

With the dust now having settled though, they’re emerging back out of the woodwork with various tidbits about GTA VI’s gameplay.
It’s Twitter user GameRoll_ who’s claiming to have inside knowledge.
GameRoll_ supposedly has a friend who, in turn, is the friend of a Rockstar Games dev.
It’s with that in mind that I have to urge you to take what they say with a hefty pinch of salt, although GameRoll_ did correctly leak Jason and Lucia’s names.

In a lengthy thread, GameRoll_ teased a ton of reported features including the likes of a six-star wanted level, honour-style relationship system, and a dead eye ability.
It’s what GameRoll_ revealed may have been cut though that’s causing concern.
According to the leaker, GTA VI has no prone option, burglary mini-game, nor dual weapon wield ability.
He also added that “listening to music outside of a car apparently isn’t a thing” and there’s no Disney World parody as some predicted.

As I said, keep that hefty pinch of salt close but the general response appears to be that players are already worried that Rockstar may have cut too much.
“This whole list of ‘leaks’ makes GTA VI sound like it has so much more development and production to do,” wrote Reddit user ZealousTaxful.
“Tbf the game still doesn't release for a whole year, entire games have been made with less time,” added PapaAquchala.
“I mean, according to Jason Schierer, the employees do feel like there is a ton of work to do. It got delayed for a reason.... For some reason people here think the game is basically done but it seems like it's far from it in reality,” said a concerned Few_Mobile_2803.

The key here is to remember that this leak is unverified.
Certainly, it could be based on accurate information but even then, there’s no saying that it doesn’t reflect an earlier build.
Sit tight everyone. GTA VI will be here before we know it, and I’m sure it won’t disappoint.
