Being a Rockstar Games fan is becoming all about patience, as they now have to wait even longer for GTA VI and even longer after that for the next game along.
GTA VI launches in November 2026, for the time being, and we have no idea what the plan is after that.
Red Dead Redemption 3 is a possibility but the safer bet is something brand-new, though many fans are hoping Rockstar will revisit some of its forgotten IPs like Bully.
Bully had a lot of potential for future instalments and still does. A remaster/remake was rumoured to be on the cards but nothing has been confirmed just yet, and Rockstar Games are notorious for only sharing news when it’s strictly relevant, unlike Bethesda which announced The Elder Scrolls VI years ago and is still not closer to launching it…

There is a good chance of Bully returning though, and a modern take could be good fun if done well. I always thought Hogwarts Legacy would have been a better game if it took more inspiration from Rockstar’s take on school-life. Probably wouldn’t have gone down well lore-wise if one of the students started flinging professors down hallways but it would have been very funny.

In the meantime there are spiritual successors, one of which is called Agefield High: Rock the School and launching next year.
Like Rockstar’s game, players will attend school, take part in its classes and make enemies as they progress through the story.
Hopefully the gameplay performs well because the graphics are looking a little dire, at least at the time of writing.
The reactions to the game’s story trailer have mocked the faces of its characters, with many highlighting how these supposed high schoolers actually look like they’re pushing 30, sometimes 40.
Some of the mischief you’ll be getting up to includes evading teachers, beating up other students, riding around on a bike through its open-world, again much like Bully.
At first glance I’m hoping there’s a little more to the game than what we’ve seen in the trailers.
In the top left of some shots there’s a mission objective which sort of imply there are more activities than just shoving people but we won’t know for sure until the game comes out.
Agefield High: Rock The School launches early next year, and if you can get past the dodgy face models it might be the game you’ve been waiting for if you’re missing Bully as much as everyone else
