'Gran Turismo 7' Has An Alien Abduction Easter Egg, Yes Really

Eagle-eyed players have spotted a really funny Easter egg in the background of one of Gran Turismo 7's tracks.

It’s been a couple of weeks now since the release of Gran Turismo 7, and the general consensus has been really positive. Here at GAMINGbible, our very own Mark gave it an 8/10, saying that “this is the best GT game I’ve played in the better half of a decade,” and that “it serves as both a perfect first experience for new racers, and a welcome homecoming for those who have been away for a while.”

Super fun racing gameplay aside, and moving past those oh-so-shiny visuals, it turns out there’s more to the game than first meets the eye. As reported by The Games Cabin, eagle-eyed players have spotted a pretty funny Easter egg in the background of one of the tracks, which you could very easily miss, and it’s out of this world.

ICYMI... check out the trailer for Gran Turismo 7 below.

As shared below by one Twitter user, a UFO can be seen flying around in the distance of Mount Panorama, before beaming a poor unsuspecting cow up out of its field and taking off. I guess the aliens were out of milk… I hope.

Here’s a screenshot of the cow in question in case you missed it.

Now, get ready for the big question - does this mean that aliens are canon in the Gran Turismo universe? It’d certainly imply so, and it’d also offer a solid explanation as to why some of the NPCs look so janky - they were never human to begin with. I see you, Polyphony.

The only way to make this any better would be to make the UFO a vehicle you can actually drive. Look, I know it’s meant to be a realistic racing game, but let me have this, okay? If they did though, I dread to think how expensive it would be - the game has already been slated for its expensive microtransactions, with some cars costing $40 if you go down the pay-to-win route. I’d imagine an alien spacecraft would cost a bit more than a Porsche, but what do I know? Alien exchange rates might be favourable.
