With September now underway, you can no longer claim Big Walk from PlayStation Plus, the excellent day-one walker-talker adventure from Untitled Goose Game developer House House.
If you did manage to grab it from PlayStation Plus’ Essential tier during August - or on any other platform, for that matter - and have rolled credits, you may be overlooking a free real-life prize you can nab for completing the title.
Big Walk requires a minimum of two players and sees you explore a vast island, collecting items known as gourds as you unlock a sequence of keys in the hopes of venturing beyond a vast and mysterious wall.

To collect those gourds, you’ll need to solve a variety of puzzles, some infuriating, some fun.
Big Walk supports up to 12 players, although puzzles require a maximum of only four, with solutions scaling depending on whether you have two, three, or four-plus people.
That’s all we’ll say of what to expect, as Big Walk is simply an experience you should just embark upon - and one where you’ll make unforgettable memories with your pals.
Once you have completed the title, you can actually redeem a real-life prize - and when I say real-life, I mean something tangible you can hold. Not a virtual trophy or achievement.
Hidden within the game’s end credits is a link that leads to the website bigwalk.game/thankyou/.
There, you’ll find a message that reads, “Thank you for playing Big Walk by House House. If you'd like a little congratulations for finishing the game, please send us a Self-Addressed, Stamped Envelope and we'll use it to mail you something little and fun.”
How to claim Big Walk’s secret real-life prize
It continues, “Address an envelope to your own house. If you're from the USA, stamp it! Put that in a bigger envelope. Include a note if you'd like… Address the big envelope to Panic. Stamp it!”
The relevant address is: Big Walk, c/o Panic, 1140 SW Washington St., Suite 300, Portland, OR 97205, USA
You’re advised to allow a few months for return delivery, and the offer is only available while supplies last.
If you’re not from the US, you can still get involved, but you’re not expected to include the return stamp.
The return envelope has to be “rectangular, made of paper, and no larger than 30 cm (11 1/2") wide × 16 cm (6 1/4") tall”, plus you need to write PRIVATE on any included letters if you don’t want them to be shared by House House.

At this point in time, we’re not entirely sure what the prize is.
Reddit VolksDK offered some insight after sending a letter off to another game published by Panic: “Panic did the same thing with Thank Goodness You're Here. The reward was a sew-on patch that says "Thank goodness I finished!" and a Yorkshire Gold tea bag. It's very sweet; I just finished today and gonna send a letter this week.”
“My friends and I just got our envelopes! We sent them two weeks ago right after we finished our playthrough,” added roenjae, although didn’t offer any further intel.
Well, my curiosity has certainly been piqued. What a charming little offer.
