Just in time for Halloween, Marvel Zombies is back and this time a new anthology series is on the cards. Titled Marvel Zombies: Black, White & Blood, the Marvel comic written by Garth Ennis will be the first instalment in the new series.

Featuring art from Rachael Stott, Javi Fernández, and Justin Mason, Marvel Zombies: Black, White & Blood seemingly includes zombie-fied versions of much-loved characters such as Iron Man and Moon Knight fighting it out and Spider-Man looking to be in quite a sticky situation. To get readers ready for release, Marvel has offered fans a sneak peek of the first instalment via Marvel.com.

The comic will be the first of four issues in the anthology which tells the story of an undead plague that has been leashed upon the Marvel Universe. Like the previous issues in the Black, White & Red anthologies, this series will feature black and white art with splashes of red. Featuring much-loved characters such as Spider-Man, Iron Man, Daredevil and Moon Knight as you have never seen before, the issue will be the perfect thing to read this Halloween.

"AN ALL-NEW ERA OF MARVEL ZOMBIES! The undead plague starts here...and you know it won't stop until everyone's in its clutches,” the official synopsis reads. “This first of four action-packed, utterly original, gloriously gory anthology issues features Daredevil, Spider-Man, Moon Knight and many, many more Marvel heroes and villains beset by ever-growing zombie hordes! In a brutal, bloodstained world, can hope survive? Or will creeping, gnawing, shambling horror win out at last...?"

If you wish to get your hands on the first issue of Marvel Zombies: Black, White & Blood, it releases on 25 October. You can also grab it digitally on the Marvel Unlimited app.

In other Marvel news, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 releases on October 20 exclusively for the PlayStation 5.
