The God of War Ragnarok lead level designer for Santa Monica Studios has now joined Amy Hennig to work on a new Marvel game.

In September 2022, it was revealed that former Uncharted developer, Amy Hennig was working on a new Marvel game for Skydance Media. While this new Marvel game hasn't been officially named, yet, we do know that it will be set during WW2 and will feature Captain America as well as Black Panther. We also know that it will be a “narrative-driven, blockbuster action-adventure.”

However, as reported by PSU, news of the development team at Skydance Media expanding its ranks spread across social media, after Elizabeth Wright announced that she will be joining forces with Amy Hennig.

“Please to announce that I’ve joined Skydance Media as a Senior Level Designer working with Amy Hennig on a new Marvel game,” tweeted Wright. Hennig replied in kind by saying: “Welcome aboard! So excited to work together again!”

Amy Hennig certainly has her hands full in the coming years. Not only is she working on the Marvel game featuring Captain America and Black Panther, but she is also leading the charge for a new Star Wars game on behalf of Skydance Media.

Announced in April 2022, Amy Hennig will be collaborating with Lucasfilm Games and VP Douglas Reilly expressed his delight in working with the popular video game developer.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to be working again with Amy,” said Reilly. “She and the Skydance New Media team have the talent and ambition to create a unique Star Wars adventure, their vision for making narrative-driven and engaging interactive entertainment makes this collaboration very exciting.

“We’re working hard with their team of experienced and talented developers, and we’re looking forward to sharing more with Star Wars fans when the time is right.”

At this time, the Marvel nor Star Wars game from Skydance Media has a release date nor are PC and console platforms confirmed. We’ll update you should we hear any further news.
