Michael Myers Is Coming To 'Mortal Kombat 11', According To Leak

Michael Myers is claimed to be one of the six new characters heading to Mortal Kombat 11 in the Kombat Pack 2. The leak, which surfaced in January and emerged from 4chan - yes, do take this with a grain of salt - has gained more traction after appearing on several Youtuber channels, including that of Dynasty, a popular Mortal Kombat player (thanks GameRant).

You can watch the video from Dynasty below (or click here if you have problems watching embedded content on your device). He discusses the leak in full, which claims that the so-far-unannounced DLC will also include additional Story Mode chapters, as well as the characters Fujin, Sheeva, Havik, Takeda, and Ash Williams. Yes, that's Ash Williams of Evil Dead fame, and he will apparently be voiced by none other than Bruce Campbell.

Does it all seem bit too good to be true? Dynasty seems to think so, commenting that he decided to make the video for a bit of fun because the leak had "blown up in the last four to five days" and he'd been sent the link to the info multiple times with people asking for his opinion. "I don't know why because it's no more legit than any leaks we've seen in the past that were fake," says Dynasty in the video.

The game's makers, NetherRealm Studios, is remaining tight-lipped when it comes to confirming even the existence of a Kombat Pack 2, much less which characters will be included. But then again, Mortal Kombat 10 had both a Kombat Pack 1 and 2, so it seems likely that the latest game will eventually follow that trend.

To be honest, it seems much more likely that John Wick would be coming to Mortal Kombat 11, or at least, Keanu Reeves in one of his many roles. In an interview with Brazilian publication Meu PS4 in October 2019, Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon revealed that he'd love to see Neo from The Matrix series or John Wick make an appearance in the game.

In other Mortal Kombat news, Warner Bros. recently announced that they'd be implementing crossplay for Mortal Kombat 11 - although they've branded it as Krossplay, presumably a more brutal version of the regular multi-platform functionality. The Krossplay will allow PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players to play against each other. It is still being tested in beta, but it shouldn't be long before it's officially rolled out.
