Cheaters never prosper.

I would hope that most of us here agree that people who cheat at online video games are the worst. You really do have to be a turd of the highest order to think that using software to give yourself an advantage over the hundreds of other people you're playing with is ever even a remotely okay thing to do.

Sadly, cheating happens - a lot. Despite the best efforts of publishers and developers, the sneaky little so-and-sos always manage to find a way to ruin the fun for everybody else. Kind of like people who show up to a party, take the aux cable, and put Coldplay on. It shouldn't come as a massive surprise, then, that Fall Guys is already home to at least a small handful of cheating ne'er-do-wells.

Mediatonic's battle royale is a game that finds its mass appeal in its utter accessibility. No matter what your skill level, everyone has a chance to win Fall Guys. So much of victory in this game comes down to sheer luck in the face of complete chaos. It's brilliant - but clearly leaves some players feeling like they need an edge to get ahead.

As documented by Twitch streamer Classique, one hacker proved that it takes more than cheating to get the win. Actually having some idea of what you're supposed to do in the first place is also required. As you can see in the video below, one player has fiddled with the game so much that they're able to sprint straight to the top of the final Fall Mountain race without any trouble at all.

The problem is that the hacker's speed and momentum is so out of whack, they can't grab the crown at the top of the mountain and claim victory. As the hacker struggles to do what needs to be done, the other players get to the top of the mountain, and manage to take the crown fair and square. You don't often see hackers fail quite so spectacularly, so this really is wonderful to see. Imagine being a complete loser on this many levels.
