Can't see the Woods for the tease.

Barely days after its official unveiling, Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has been the subject of leaks that give fans a major heads up on what to expect from the title in the coming weeks and months.

The leaks come via COD Tracker who claim the information was received by them, although I must stress that these are as-yet unverified so please take everything below with a pinch of salt. The article does also state that the information may be subject to change, so there's that to bear in mind, too.

According to the leak, pre-order bonuses of the game will include early access to the open beta. So far so normal, most Call Of Duty games have an open beta of some sort before their full launch for fans to get a taste of the action and to iron out any kinks before the game's full release. It's assumed this will be access to the multiplayer portion of the game, but the leak doesn't specify.

Special editions of the game (which are usually tiered into things like, standard, enhanced, collector's editions etc) will also receive some cosmetic items to be used in-game, too. Listed is a Confrontation Weapons Pack, Land Sea and Air Pack and Season 1 Bundle Pass, but the most intriguing for fans will be the Woods Operator Pack in Modern Warfare and Warzone.

Frank Woods was the protagonist in the original Black Ops games and has been expected by fans to make an appearance in Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, though this is so far unconfirmed. As noted by Eurogamer, Captain Price was a pre-order bonus Operator for Black Ops 4.

A full reveal for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is expected to come on August 26th (that's this Wednesday) where the leak also suggests pre-orders will go live. For now, we'll just have to wait and see what Activision and Treyarch have planned.
