You may be thinking “What’s so special about Vermont?” Well, it’s a land overrun with feral ghouls and they’re on the hunt for human flesh.

What’s most special about this adventure is the free-flowing nature of the quests. Without any quest markers, it’s up to you to puzzle out the mystery by talking with NPCs and working it out on your own.
Because, of course, there’s a “devious mystery lurking in the shadows.’ I wonder if it has anything to do with a vault. Just a guess.
The creator is quick to point out that you will meet plenty of interesting characters and factions when you enter Vermont and they’re key to the narrative.
There’s plenty of action too. After all, those ghouls are out for blood and you’re on hand to dispense justice via bloody carnage.

Fully voiced, the adventure certainly feels very natural and slots nicely into the Fallout 4 universe - you can find the entrance to Vermont north of Sanctuary Hills.
Fallout Vermont is an ideal expansion for those wanting to ditch the big city and suburbs for a more idyllic setting, albeit spoiled by the rampaging ghouls.
Fallout has been riding a wave of popularity since the Amazon Prime TV show debuted earlier this year.
Fallout 4 has risen again and sees thousands of players each day and even Fallout 76 will be getting a new expansion focused on ghouls.
