The second season of Fallout is almost here and speculation is rife about what we might get to see, particularly with all of the excitement around the New Vegas setting this time around, marking the first time we have seen it since the games.
If you haven't seen the first series yet, then you should probably stop reading here, but we left last season with a bunch of major plot points that will need some kind of resolution in this latest effort.
Lucy and the Ghoul have set off for New Vegas, in search of Lucy's nefarious dad Hank and the Ghoul's potentially alive family. Meanwhile, Maximus will inevitably be back in the good graces of the Brotherhood, after Dane gave him the credit for killing Moldaver, when it actuality it looks like it happened thanks to stray fire.
Prime Video and the team behind the show did a great job getting the audience invested in the fate of these characters, and with not long left until we see them again, fans have started to look everywhere for clues.

Walton Goggins Social Media Activity Has Fans Scared
The press tours for the new show are very much under way, and the cast have been appearing all over the world to promote what's to come next.
Underneath a photo shared by Maximus actor Aaron Moten on Instagram, Ghoul actor Walton Goggins commented saying, "There he is... Maximus. Boy am I going to miss you."
Now Walton Goggins is a seasoned professional, so our assumption is that he's likely talking about them finishing up their press duties and splitting up at the end of the season. That said, it doesn't mean that fans haven't immediately assumed that he was talking about the imminent and permanent death of Maximus in Season 2.
"Now what do you mean by that, Walton???" one post on X said.
The thing about the Fallout franchise is that they really haven't been afraid to bump off major characters in the past across their various mediums. So Maximus or one of the other characters being unceremoniously beheaded or swallowed by something horrendous isn't particularly unlikely.
In the meantime, I'm just going to sit tight and hope that all of the nice people in it come out on top, which I understand is unlikely, but the real world is bleak enough without all of the shows I watch being devoid of hope as well.
See you in the wasteland!
