With Fallout: New Vegas widely considered as the best title in the much-loved Fallout series, it is no wonder that fans are praying for a remake.

However, with Bethesda seemingly too busy developing Fallout 5 and The Elder Scrolls 6, it may be a while until a Fallout: New Vegas remake is bumped up the to-do list. That is unless it teams up with Obsidian Entertainment again, of course.

Fallout: New Vegas is just one of many entries you should check out!

First released back in 2010, it is no wonder that New Vegas is crying out for a revival as by today’s graphic standards, it is ancient. However, with the story still unbeatable and the writing still memorable, it is just a few tweaks to graphics that would bring it up to par.

Luckily for us, one creator over on Nexus Mods is working on just that by creating the New Vegas Animation Overhaul - Guns mod, which as you can probably already tell, aims to rework the game’s extensive weapon arsenal.

With over 30,000 downloads, it is clear that this mod is not one to miss out on and considering it is free, you would be silly not to.

“The definitive first-person animation pack for guns in Fallout: New Vegas and TTW,” reads its description. “Two-and-a-half years in the making, this pack covers (almost) every weapon in base New Vegas, its DLCs, and in TTW.”

TTW refers to ‘Tale of Two Wastelands’, a Fallout 3 and New Vegas mod which allows players to play both titles with just one character.

Although this mod only applies to guns and not melee weapons, it is still a big improvement considering you will be staring at your gun for the majority of the game. However, with ten guns not improved via the mod, it is worth remembering that not all of them will welcome a revamp.

If you are craving more Fallout, this free-to-play entry for the Nintendo Switch is not something to miss out on.
