Fallout 76 will soon welcome yet another expansion.

On 18 March, ‘Ghoul Within’ will finally land, allowing players to assume the role of a ghoul.

The feature was first teased last year so it’s most certainly been a long time coming.

For the most part, Bethesda is still keeping ‘Ghoul Within’ under wraps.

We do know, however, that it’ll launch the same day as the upcoming Season 20, titled ‘Glow of the Ghoul’.

“Glow of the Ghoul is all about the Ghouls. This theme is for the mutated, the irradiated, the glowing and the feral of the wasteland,” reads the season’s synopsis.

“Even if you’re not going the way of the ghoul, be sure to decorate your C.A.M.P. in the most radiation-ridden and dilapidated way to make all your ghoulfriends feel at home. Toxic waste looks good in any C.A.M.P.”

Take a look at the trailer for ‘Glow of the Ghoul’ below.

The season will bring us a number of new C.A.M.P rewards, including the likes of the ‘Unfortunate End’ nuclear waste tank, ‘Mini Nuke Stein’, and ‘Goo-Tub’, as well as the wearable ‘Yellow Vault-Tec Hazmat Suit’ and ‘Sharpshooter Power Armour Paint’.

With both ghoul-themed releases landing in the next few weeks, it won’t be long before we discover what else they have in store.

Already though, fans are pretty hyped by what’s on the horizon

“Ghoul finally..For those of us playing Fallout for the last two decades or more, this is really a dream come true. I remember the first time I walked into Moriarty's saloon and spoke to Gob, omg .. he was so cool! Thank you Bethesda, really .. this is wonderful,” wrote Reddit user enclave_regulator.

“Finally we have a date!” added Wooden_Echidna1234.

SerHammersmark commented, “Can't wait to try being a ghoul.”

Let the final countdown begin.
