Fallout 4 proves to be the game that keeps on giving, as a discovery from a player reveals that certain locations and items can go years without being found by the average wastelander.

Bethesda is known for filling its games with lots of hidden details and easter eggs, particularly the RPGs that it publishes.

The Mad Max references in Fallout 3 or the famous “I have the high ground” moment appearing in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion prove that the developer can have fun.

However, there are also some hidden secrets in the games that you might not even discover without glitching.

Over on the Fallout 4 Reddit, one player asked for secret locations or missions to find once they’d wrapped up the main storyline and DLC.

Even taking the colossal size of Fallout 4 into account, with around 50+ hours to beat the main quest and side missions alone, we’re sure there’s still plenty more to discover.

“If you’re playing on console there’s a secret location at the top Mass Fusions interior that you’re able to get to by using a trash can and glitching to climb to the top,” wrote a comment. “Where you’ll find a unique set of combat armor legs.”

“You can also use power armor with jet pack to get to the Free Fall Leg Armor,” one comment followed up. “I’ve done both with trash can as well.”

It’s worth noting that if you’re on PC, you can simply noclip up to the room using the tcl console command.

However, some have reported that this doesn’t work if you enter the room while still under the effects of tcl though, so be sure to disable it and turn clipping back on at the top.

The Free Fall Legs carry the Acrobat legendary effect which reduces limb damage and completely prevents fall damage if you wear them together.

This makes it a useful set to keep on you if you’re doing a lot of vertical scaling.

This should be useful the next time you’re out exploring the wasteland and need some equipment to offset some of the damage you’re receiving during combat.
