Fallout 4 has a hidden area filled with goodies near the start of the game, and I bet the majority of players missed it.

If you’re familiar with Bethesda games you’ll be familiar with hidden weapon/loot caches that are often scattered throughout the in-game maps. Fallout 4 is no different, as there are several “areas” that many would overlook, but should make a note of as they hide some valuable gear for early-game playthroughs.

Did you start playing Fallout because of the TV series? Here's a helpful guide on where you should start

Something you might not know, but a Reddit thread touched on a few years ago, is there’s one such cache in the opening town of the game, Concord.

Serving as a tutorial area and a great place to get accustomed to the combat, Concord houses many secrets and one of them is tied to the Deathclaw’s arrival.

Towards the end of the main story quest when you first meet the Minutemen you’ll be descended upon by bandits, and part way through a Deathclaw climbs its way up out of the sewers to join in on the fun.

Once all enemies are slain head to the hole that the Deathclaw came out of, as you’ll discover you can actually drop down into it and explore a little sewer area filled with ammunition and other gear.

It’s a minor detail but an impressive one at that, and if you stumbled upon it the first time you played it’s a good lesson to the player to check every nook and cranny, as you never know what you might find.

There are also some bunkers and cellars you can find in the town before Concord too, many you’ll have just walked past on your way to the main mission.

While it’s not the best game in the franchise by any means Fallout 4 is still a great title, and worth replaying if you’ve got the time.
