Fallout 4 is returning in a big way later this year with a brand-new anniversary edition, which also brings the game to the last console we expected.
It’s Fallout Day folks and Bethesda is celebrating the series’s long history with some exciting announcements, the first of which was related to Fallout 4.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Fallout 4, the game is getting an official re-release titled Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition.
The new version of the game contains all six of its DLC expansions, including Far Harbour, Nuka-Cola World and more.

Also included is over 150+ community creations, some of which bring a little piece of the Mojave from Fallout: New Vegas to the Commonwealth. Others add new sections of the map to explore including an escape room and there's even one that lets you communicate with the Sole Survivor's wife from the start of the game.

It’ll also include all the previous updates, such as the new-gen content that was added when the game was optimised for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
Additionally it was announced Fallout 4 will be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 next year. This will also be through the anniversary version of the game, allowing new and returning players to see and experience everything the Commonwealth has to offer on a handheld, all of the expansions too.

Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition is dropping much sooner than you’d think, 10 November 2025. The Nintendo Switch 2 version comes later, sometime in 2026.
What Else Is New?
If you were hoping this Fallout Day would finally give us remasters of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, I'm afraid you're out of luck.
While fans have been tempering their expectations in the build-up to this livestream the disappointment is still stinging, but at least Fallout: New Vegas is getting a cool anniversary bundle to celebrate 15 years since its launch.

So far there's been no mention of Fallout 3, but I'm sure fans will still hold onto hope that the remaster is still on its way, it's just taking its sweet time to get here.
As expected Fallout 76 also got a big segment to talk about everything coming to the game by the end of the year, as well as a native Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 version of the game coming next year.
