We all have an embarrassing story about something we did or didn’t do in our games. However, one Elden Ring player may have just won gold after revealing they missed a key feature. Oops.

It is not surprising that Elden Ring players may miss a feature or two considering the FromSoftware RPG is one of the biggest in the genre.

Check out the story trailer for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree below!

Now with the upcoming release of Elden Ring’s first expansion Shadow of the Erdtree, players are returning to the 2022 title that started it all and as a result, some confessions are finally coming out.

That is definitely the case for one user who has revealed that they had sunk over 360 hours into the game before realizing that players have the ability to summon a mount.

The news comes from r/Eldenring which saw one user reveal a Discord conversation between the poor Elden Ring player and others in the channel.

The mount, by the name of Torrent, can be summoned in order to make traversing around the game’s expansive map a whole lot easier. Not only that but Torrent offers a double-jump ability which comes in handy in certain Elden Ring boss fights.

Additionally, not having this jump ability makes reaching certain areas of the map impossible so it is safe to assume that the player has missed out on quite a bit of content.

As a result, the poor user admitted that they had “never touched” Torrent despite having almost 400-hours in the game and fans are understandably baffled.

“Did he just pay ZERO attention to the game he was playing?” read one comment. “I have a hard time believing that he has NEVER used Torrent, much less not even knowing he exists in almost 400 hours of gameplay.”

Ahead of the release of Shadow of the Erdtree, which is reported to feature a brand-new area, we can only hope that they are now taking advantage of the game’s handy mount.
