A24’s upcoming Elden Ring movie has just had a small leak, revealing a set design from the production.
Earlier this week, a leak originating from Twitch streamer Throxtv has revealed one of the sets that are due to appear in the Elden Ring film adaptation, depicting a ruined church with a statue of Marika in the centre.
Two videos uploaded to TikTok by Throxtv show the set in the middle of a countryside, with fencing closing off the set. If not for the statue of Marika, it could just double for any old ruined church located in the England countryside.
However, with the statue there, it might just be our first look at the upcoming movie. We’ve linked to the TikToks below for you to have a look at for yourself.

Throxtv claims that the set is located ten minutes from their house, though it isn’t disclosed where exactly this is.
The set design has got fans excited, with many praising the “lore accurate” architecture of the church and design of the statue. Many are also using it to speculate on when the movie will take place during Elden Ring’s timeline.
“I also wouldn't want any other studio than A24 to produce an Elden Ring movie,” reads one comment on the Elden Ring Reddit page. “They're the most popular indie film studio and a large majority of their films are absolute bangers. I always go ‘ooooo’ when I see the A24 logo.”
“I hope this movie is a fever dream of cryptic insanity,” another comment reads. “A half naked dude with a pot on his head lost in a cosmic fantasy nightmare. Let us spend the next decade trying to figure out the plot.”
“Shouldn't the statue and the church look better if this was set before the shattering? People would be around to maintain and clean it up,” reads a third comment. |So this is pretty much confirmed the story is after shattering but before the game event then. Hope for Vyke story arc. It would be awesome.”

Originally announced in May 2025, the Elden Ring movie adaptation is set to be directed and written by Alex Garland, whose work includes the likes of Annihilation, Men, and Ex Machina.
It’s being jointly produced by A24 and Bandai Namco, and will feature Peter Rice, Andrew Macdonald, Allon Reich, George R. R. Martin and Vince Gerardis as producers.
