Elden Ring is set in the Lands Between, a gorgeous yet grim realm suffering under the outcome of the Shattering that corrupted its demigods and saw the Greater Will wither away. While you're dodging and darting out of the way of mortal attacks from the terrors that stalk this earth, if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. Thanks to this new mod, you are able to snap selfies in this lamentable world for your scrapbook.
"The ambitious open-world successor to the Dark Souls series is maddeningly punishing, impossibly vast, and endlessly rewarding," said Ewan in his review of this grey and glorious game. "It’s also, I am delighted to report, FromSoftware’s best game to date; a modern masterpiece that will surely go down as one of the greats." I mean, I'm more of a pleasant and plodding session on Animal Crossing person but it's difficult to deny that Elden Ring has gone down a treat with gamers from all over.
Here's our Elden Ring review in video form for those among us who like sparkly moving pictures!
More specifically speaking, the latest GSD market data shows that Elden Ring's combined digital and physical sales has earned it the title of the most successful launch for a game that isn't Call Of Duty or FIFA since 2019. It in fact sold 2.5 times as much as Horizon Forbidden West - which we also thought was another amazing open world game for gamers who relish putting their skills to the test.

Without further ado, name a better way to document your many, many, many deaths in this horrible and harrowing world than a photo mode? This mod from Frans "Otis_Inf" Bouma allows you free unlimited camera movement and rotation in the game and in its cutscenes, different game speeds, invisibility to enemies and sunlight direction control to craft that ideal shot of the Tarnished and their best buddy Margit.
There are caveats to the mod, though. First and foremost, it's only free to download until March 10th and you'll have to be offline so you don't run the risk of being banned from Elden Ring for using software to alter the game.
