Gamer Pays Cam Girl $20,000 To Play 'Elden Ring' With Him For 40 Hours

I'm looking for someone to share in an adventure

Elden Ring is a phenomenal video game and an unforgettable single-player experience, but it's also an absolute riot with friends.

FromSoftware's new open-world adventure is very similar to its predecessors, in that it's possible to summon friends (or strangers) to your world to explore and help out with some of the tougher bosses. You can even invade the world's of other players and cause them no end of grief, if you're feeling particularly cruel.

But not everyone has friends that are willing to commit the time it takes to really get to grips with a game like Elden Ring. What's an intrepid adventurer to do in such a situation? Pay a cam girl $20,000 for a 40-hour session, apparently.

31-year-old Chris from New Jersey claims to have paid adult model Charley Hart $20,160 (around £15,200) to play Elden Ring with him for one marathon session via a website called CamSoda.

"I usually play campaigns by myself in my boxer briefs and overload on carbs while chugging energy drinks," Chris told The Sun. "It was nice to have Charley alongside me as I traversed The Lands Between. We got to know each other quite intimately and connected on a deeper level."

He added: "I really appreciated her companionship. I look forward to hopefully streaming with her again when the next big game is released."

Chris also alleges that he and Charley were able to beat the game in 40 hours. While that's certainly not impossible, it's quite an impressive feat. It's also one that apparently put Chris off from ever wanting to do anything like it again.

"It was very intense," he admitted. "I was hellbent on beating the game. I’m going to break it up next time if I ever do a full campaign."

Charley explained that a number of cam girls actually saw a rise in requests to game during the pandemic, with certain clients no doubt just preferring the company in lockdown.

"Rather than just being a cam girl who performs for, say, 7 minutes, I’ve accompanied clients for extended periods of time while they game, prepare dinner, eat dinner, etc. It’s like long-form camming," she said.

"It was something I’ve never done before. I didn’t fully grasp how long 40 consecutive hours is. It takes a lot of stamina, in more ways than one. But Chris and I really hit it off at the onset and it was fun."
