Will the curious case of Dr Disrespect’s Twitch ban ever end? We’re beginning to wonder after new claims from staff have emerged.

We’ve been here before, dear gamers. It was roughly two months ago we shared an article about Dr Disrespect breaking his silence over his 2020 Twitch ban.

Foolishly, we’d assumed the matter was put to rest. But we were wrong.

If you'd like to stop hearing about this Twitch ban, why not check out the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree launch trailer instead?

A former Twitch employee has come forward with a shocking accusation, and, naturally, Dr Disrespect is having none of it.

On Twitter, the former employee, Cody Conners, posted that the ban occurred because Dr Disrespect was “sexting minors”. Furthermore, that “he was trying to meet up with her at TwitchCon”.

As you’ll all agree, that’s quite the accusation to make. One which Dr Disrespect isn't too pleased about.

“Listen, I’m obviously tied to legal obligations from the settlement with Twitch but I just need to say what I can say since this is the f**king internet,” Dr Disrespect's Twitter post begins.

“I didn’t do anything wrong, all this has been probed and settled, nothing illegal, no wrongdoing was found, and I was paid.”

For most of his fans, the matter is settled; case closed yet again. However, there are some who are concerned over the streamer’s choice of words.

Listen, I’m obviously tied to legal obligations from the settlement with Twitch but I just need to say what I can say since this is the fucking internet.

I didn’t do anything wrong, all this has been probed and settled, nothing illegal, no wrongdoing was found, and I was paid.…

One Twitter user responded, “Bro why won’t you say ‘I was not talking to a minor trying to meet up with her at TwitchCon like what was alleged’?”

Someone else also commented, “So you don't deny messaging a minor?”

As other fans pointed out, though, given the arrangement of the settlement previously mentioned, he may not be able to put it into those exact words.

Only Dr Disrespect and Twitch know what truly happened, and given how long this saga has been going on for without outsiders receiving any clear answers, it’s unlikely we’ll ever know the full details.
