Daredevil: Born Again season two has already been seemingly confirmed for Disney Plus by the Kingpin actor.

Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again is a soft reboot of the popular Netflix series and we all know that Disney targets family fun content. So when Disney announced its Plus streaming platform, when the likes of Daredevil, The Punisher, and Jessica Jones were removed from Netflix, many thought that the content would be too mature for Disney Plus.

When Disney announced Daredevil: Born Again, fans had got their wish that Charlie Cox would return as ‘The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen’. Albeit, it would likely be toned down in comparison to the Netflix series, though some have speculated that it could be the first R-rated content on Disney Plus.

As reported by IGN, Vincent D’Onofio, who plays Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin, has all but confirmed that Daredevil: Born Again will have a second season.

During an interview with Newsweek, D’Onofrio revealed that plans for season two are already underway, and even teased fans to expect a big payoff for both seasons.

“By the second season, there are gigantic, gigantic payoffs — in the first season, too, but I can't say much about that — but the fans are gonna really get what they want,” D'Onofrio teased. “It's really quite cool to be doing it.”

“We've only just started shooting. I think we're a couple of weeks in, and the show is going to be very, very different than the Netflix show, and it's so exciting because what we're doing is quite something,” D'Onofrio said. But what, exactly is that "something? I think it's something that people are not going to expect.”

Back in December 2022, Charlie Cox teased that the Daredevil series on Disney Plus could have a similar tone to Deadpool. Not that we exact that kind of violence and adult themes, but maybe it will have more of an emphasis on humour as well as action.

Prior to the upcoming series on Disney Plus, Charlie Cox made Matt Murdock cameos in Spider-Man: No Way Home and featured quite predominantly in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

In related news, following the return of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofio’s Kingin, it’s also been confirmed that Jon Bernthal is returning as The Punisher.

While we do not have an exact release date for Daredevil: Born Again it is expected to arrive on Disney Plus in early 2024 and will consist of 18 episodes. What’s more, it will be part of the MCU.
