Cyberpunk 2077 meets Tomb Raider in stunning new adventure game

Is this really gonna come out in 2025?

A “new” trailer for an upcoming game makes it look like an incredibly impressive mix between Cyberpunk 2077 and Tomb Raider, which makes it all the weirder that I can barely find any information about the title online.

The Grass Of Genesis is an upcoming third-person shooter by developer and publisher Well-Link, who describe themselves as a “Real Time Cloud Rendering Service Provider” on their official site.

The developer hasn’t come out of nowhere, though. As they state on their site, Well-Link is responsible for helping with cloud-based ports of titles such as Tower of Fantasy and Genshin Impact.

Their title The Grass Of Genesis seems to be the first game that Well-Link has developed entirely in-house though, and it’s supposedly set to drop sometime in 2025 on… well, I have no idea what systems this game is meant to release on.

I’m not kidding when I say there’s barely any info on this game out there. In April 2022, Well-Link originally showed off a trailer for the game titled “Chuncao demo”.

Since then we’ve not really seen too much out of it, but it’s re-appeared on a bunch of sites under its new title, The Grass of Genesis, alongside a new trailer for the game… although a lot of people who have (somehow) been following the development of the title seem to think that this “new” trailer is actually re-worked version of a trailer that Well-Link released over two years ago.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this game just ends up being a very fancy tech demo. Although there’s some gameplay elements in the trailer, the fact that I can barely find any new info on the title since 2023 makes me think that this was more of a proof of concept kind of trailer.

I also have no idea where several sites are getting the “2025” release date from. I haven’t been able to find any kind of official statement from Well-Link that this game is actually gonna drop at any point this year, but it’s possible that the language barrier is to blame for that.

I think this looks just as a cool as the rest of you, I’d just suggest we temper our expectations.
