Cyberpunk 2077 players realise they've been doing stealth wrong after 4 years

Well, that makes things easier

Cyberpunk 2077 may have been out in the world for almost four-years but according to a recent discovery, we are far from uncovering all its hidden features.

There is no denying that Cyberpunk 2077 has been on quite a journey since its release in 2020.

Check out the trailer for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty below!

From it being unplayable for many at launch to coming full circle and becoming one of the best RPGs of all time, the CD Projekt Red title is set to go down in history.

However, it is still quite a new title and due to this, players are still discovering all of its hidden features, secrets and Easter eggs.

That includes one recently discovered and posted to r/cyberpunkgame.

“Anyone know what this is for?” The original post reads alongside a short video.

“This is my fifth or sixth play through and I have no idea what it’s for.

For context, this is an NCPD Suspected Organized Crime Activity spot in the lower part of Pacifica. About 200M southwest of the WestWindApartments fast travel location.”

The mystery in question relates to a fuse box found in the aforementioned location and according to a fellow user, it has a very interesting use.

According to them, the fuse box is the “technical ability” way of disabling all cameras at once which is perfect for those running a netrunner build or approaching missions as stealthy as possible.

“If you cannot hack cameras, but still want to sneak, you can find this and shut down the security systems and knock out all the cameras,” they explained.

Not only did this come as a shock to me but it also did to many other players.

“Whaaaat I had no idea and I have like 500+ hours in this game,” one reply read.

Another said: “Almost 400 hours. Why was this not in the tutorial?!”

So there you have it!

Cyberpunk 2077 is still continuing to surprise players even after all these years and I, for one, am excited to see what else is discovered in the future.
