As it stands, Cyberpunk 2077 has five main endings in its base-game, including a secret ending and the “Path of Least Resistance”, meaning that the RPG has seven potential outcomes, each offering their own unique epilogues.

However, according to one player, after 900 hours of gameplay, they have finally unlocked “the best one”.

Check out the Cyberpunk 2077 next-gen update launch trailer below!

CD Projekt RED really put the role-playing aspect into its RPG by offering players a variety of different endings to wrap up their journey with Cyberpunk 2077, with even more being added alongside Phantom Liberty.

The Sun, The Star, The Devil, The Tower, Temperance, and Path of Least Resistance are some of the main endings, but there is one secret option that many fans over on r/cyberpunkgame agree is the best.

It is known as the ‘Don’t Fear the Reaper’ ending.

In order to unlock this ending, players must make specific choices during dialogue with Johnny and it is worth checking out a guide if you are yet to unlock this one.

To sum it up, however, the ending centres around Johnny, and players have recently come together to discuss this heartwarming conclusion.

“Secret Ending is the best ending,” user Breklin76 posted.

“After nearly 900 hours and multiple runs, I finally unlocked and completed the Secret Ending. By far and away, this was the best ending. Yeah, V is gonna die but everyone else seems in as good a place as you can be in Night City. This was the perfect way to table the game for a while.”

It wasn’t long before the comments came flooding in and it seems as though the vast majority of fellow fans agreed.

“That’s THE ending, as far as I’m concerned,” user Eborys commented.

Osniffable summed it up by saying: “Everyone dies. It’s what you do with the time, and how you leave things for your friends and family. I like the Nomad ending too, but you’re not wrong.”

Plus if you are yet to get this ending, it is another excuse to boot up Cyberpunk 2077 once again.
