The start of this month saw another new update added to Cyberpunk 2077 which added everything from working metro stations to new vehicles. Perhaps most importantly was the addition of your romantic companions spending time at your apartment which led to brand-new content.
Unless you have been living under a rock, you know that CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 had a less than rocky launch. However, now three years on, the title has received one of the biggest gaming redemption arcs in recent years and now comfortably sits in most people’s top ten favourite games of all time lists.

This September welcomed the release of Cyberpunk 2077’s first and only expansion pack Phantom Liberty which soon went on to win The Best Ongoing Award at the 2023 Game Awards. Now to end off an amazing year, the team at CD Projekt Red released another massive update that included a working metro system, new radio stations, improved boss mechanics, new vehicles and more.
More specifically, the update introduced the option to hang out with your romantic interests at your apartment. It was always something missing from the base game that you would not see your partners once their storyline had finished but the update brings a much more realistic touch.
So realistic that one player took to r/cyberpunk game to share the impressive amount of detail included in one new shower scene. The scene triggers once Judy shares the night with V and the pair shower together. Whereas most people would be zooming into a very different body part, this user decided to zoom into Judy’s shoulder and more specifically, the amount of detail in the water falling there.
“The details in this game are breathtaking,” they wrote alongside an accompanying video.
The shower water cascading down Judy’s skin is just one of many incredible details added to Cyberpunk 2077 which makes its redemption arc all the more satisfying to see.
