CD Projekt Red has confirmed it’s moving onto bigger and brighter things, as it rounds out the last few content drops for Cyberpunk 2077. The developer devoted a lot of time and money to fixing the game’s many problems as well as adding a story expansion, Phantom Liberty.

Now it has its sights set on a fourth game in The Witcher series, as well as a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, though the latter won’t be ready for quite some time according to CD Projekt Red itself.

Despite having bigger fish to fry, that hasn’t stopped the team from adding a few finishing touches to the dystopian RPG, one of which is physical affection and other activities you can do with your chosen partner.

Throughout the game, and depending on which gender you chose when you made your character, you’ll have the option to romance Panam or Judy provided you say and do the right things. Once you’re happily in your digital relationship, you’ll receive the odd text or phone call from them, and also get access to their apartments. Apart from that though there isn’t much to do, as unlike GTA IV, you can’t swing by their place to take them bowling or indulge in some hot coffee.

That’s changed now though, as CD Projekt Red has overhauled interactions with the characters. When staying at their apartment, you’ll be able to interact with them in various couple ways, with an example coming straight from the developer itself. The tweet shows Panam laying across your character's lap for some quality time, how lovely.

The tweet rounds off by confirming there’ll be “plenty of activities to choose from during your time together,” meaning we’re one step closer to Cyberpunk 2077 being the Bladerunner 2049 simulator everyone dreamed it to be, complete with people telling us we look lonely and could do with a hug, so immersive…
