Last night’s Gamescom 2025 event gave us some new and exciting details about Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 ahead of its launch in November.
Now it seems as though the information does not stop there as live pre-order listings reveal the storage space needed to install Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and it is safe to say that it is a whopper.
Ahead of its worldwide launch in just a couple of months, pre-orders for the highly-anticipated Black Ops 7 have finally gone live on both the Xbox and PlayStation store.
That is how we know that players will need to find a mammoth 200GB+ worth of storage space on their chosen platforms.

The prices for two of the main bundles have also gone live with the Standard Edition retailing at $70 whilst the Vault Edition will set you back $100.
So what does the Vault Edition include?
Well, according to the Xbox store page, it will feature: BlackCell (1 Season), the Battle Pass, 20 Tier Skips, 1,100CP, Operator Collection, Operator Skins, Mastercraft Weapons, and more.
In comparison, the Standard Edition will be very basic and just offer customers the base game of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

However, pre-ordering any version of the game, or subscribing to Xbox Game Pass, will see you able to access the Open Beta which begins on 2 October. Additionally, open access to the beta will be open to everybody from 5 October onwards.
Now that has been covered, let us go back to that mammoth file size.
The Xbox Store has listed Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 as 202.97GB in size so players will have to make sure to clear out that storage ahead of the game’s launch on 14 November 2025.
With Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 expected to introduce a co-op campaign for the first time in over a decade for the Call of Duty franchise, there is no denying that this brand-new title will be a hit when it releases later this year.
