Who’s ready for more Borderlands? Well, The Borderlands Compilation: Pandora’s Box has seemingly been leaked by the South Africa ratings board. Whoops.

We’re in the midst of somewhat of a Borderlands drought. Last year saw the release of spin-off titles Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and New Tales from the Borderlands, but fans are itching to know what’s next for the franchise. Of course, there is the Borderlands film on the way - although in recent weeks, The Last of Us writer Craig Mazin removed his name from the credits which isn’t a good sign. Announced back in 2015, the film will star Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Cate Blanchett and Jamie Lee Curtis. It’s a star-studded cast but clearly Mazin has his doubts. Back in the game world though, it appears as if The Borderlands Compilation: Pandora’s Box may be on the way.

Speaking of game adaptations, Gran Turismo is set to release on 11 August. Take a look at the film in action below.

As reported by Gematsu, it looks as if Borderlands may be getting a new compilation release featuring all of the games in the series. The Film and Publication Board of South Africa classified a project titled The Borderlands Compilation: Pandora’s Box for PC and consoles on 21 April. As IGN points out, the Borderlands Legendary Collection already exists, including Borderlands, Borderlands 2, and the Pre-Sequel.

It stands to reason then that The Borderlands Compilation: Pandora’s Box could also include Borderlands 3, Tales from the Borderlands, and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands (although the latter is technically not set in Pandora).

I’d imagine it’s not exactly what fans are hoping for. After all, it would be much more fun to see a new Borderlands game announced. Then again, this could be a great way to check out the series if you’re yet to. It is pretty handy to have the whole series in one place.
