The release of Battlefield 6 has been a remarkably smooth one for Electronic Arts, as the massively ambitious shooter really hit the ground running in the eyes of players, particularly if we ignore the gripes with the single-player campaign (as many are choosing to do).
Player counts have been very high, topping out at around 750,000 on Steam alone, and the general mood around the game continues to be positive. Now, a big part of Battlefield 6's future will be maintaining that momentum and releasing content that brings players back, or keeps them locked in for a few months.
Part of that appeal, for some, will be the Battle Pass for the game, which promises additional rewards for those willing to buy access and grind it out. Well, it turns out that it might actually also be a pretty good deal if you do sit down and put the time into earning its rewards.

Battlefield Battle Pass Free for the Grinders
Over on Reddit, one player shared the pretty startling revelation that there are 1,100 Battlefield Coins available as rewards for those who complete the entirety of the Season 1 Battle Pass. The very cool thing about that is that the cost of the Battle Pass was also 1,100 Coins.

If you haven't worked it out yet, that essentially means that you can earn the entire cost of the next Battle Pass, simply by grinding out this one, which in all fairness to EA is a nice option to give players (assuming the price doesn't increase next season).
Now obviously this has happened in other games before, and it's there as a way of retaining as many play hours as possible from EA's perspective, as many in the responses were eager to point out.
"They know that most people will most likely spend something in the store with the points/tiers at some point instead of waiting 3 months til next battle pass. They know what they are doing, don't be fooled," one said.
"The COD Battle Pass was this way. It was a one time purchase and then you earn all the coins needed for the next Battle Pass. So essentially you have to keep playing if you want to never pay for the BP twice," another added.

The game itself continues to drop fresh experiences for players, most notably the new Battle Royale mode REDSEC, which is already proving to be just as popular as the regular modes.
