Assassin's Creed Mirage free download announced by Ubisoft

An Assassin’s Creed Mirage free download has been announced by Ubisoft, and we’ll let you know how to claim it.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the next big entry in Ubisoft’s action-adventure stealth series. Starring Basim Ibn Ishaq who first met in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the main protagonist. Mirage is set prior to the events of Valhalla, in Iraq, Baghdad.

What’s more, unlike more recent entries in the series, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be focusing less on a huge open world and RPG mechanics, but will instead return to good old stealth, as well as more condensed maps.

First announced in September 2022, fans grew concerned that Assassin’s Creed Mirage might not ever be released following reports of internal delays and even pre-orders being cancelled. Alas at the most recent PlayStation Showcase event, not only were those concerns washed away like the sands of time, but the Mirage gameplay reveal blew fans away.

Next week on 12 June 2023, Ubisoft will be hosting its Ubisoft Forward event and during the show, fans will be treated to even more Assassin’s Creed Mirage gameplay and more. Additionally, thanks to a leak, we also know that The Crew Motorfest will be in attendance.

However, Assassin’s Creed fans will be in for an extra treat, because simply by watching via the official Ubisoft Twitch channel, viewers will be rewarded with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Mirage DLC. As a heads up, be sure to link your Amazon/Prime Gaming account to Uplay Connect in order to claim the free goodies.

So what will players be rewarded with? You will be rewarded with the “Eugene” Raven skin for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and the Oasis Initiate of Alamut Dye for Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

In related news, a recent tease has hinted at the return of Ezio Auditore and fans have hailed Assassin’s Creed Origins as the best of the RPG trilogy. Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released on 12 October 2023 for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
