A major Ubisoft game leaks ahead of the publisher’s big showcase event next week.

Despite there being now E3 this year, that hasn't stopped major publishers from across the world from showing off the biggest and best upcoming releases. Not only do we have Summer Game Fest, Xbox Showcase and a Capcom Showcase, but also Ubisoft Forward.

The Summer Game Fest promises gameplay exclusive to Mortal Kombat 1 as well as Alan Wake II, and more. Xbox fans will also be hoping for big things from the green brand in the hope that it finally pushes to compete with the PS5 with a flurry of first-party exclusives. However, we do know that Bethesda sci-fi RPG, Starfield will be getting its very own dedicated event.

As for Ubisoft, we already know that we’ll be getting a fresh look at Assassin’s Creed Mirage as well as a ‘special showcase offering a peak at the future of the franchise’, along with more Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and the infamously delayed, Skull and Bones. I suppose at this point, it’s probably too much to ask for some Beyond Good and Evil 2, but you never know.

Another new game that looks to be in attendance at Ubisoft Forward is The Crew Motorfest, the third entry in the open-world racer. As reported by GameSpot (via VGC), it seems that Ubisoft accidentally posted two gameplay videos, one was around 25 minutes long and the other was apparently two hours captured on PS5. Oops! The footage featured multiple camera perspectives, customisation as well as the in-game location of Hawaii.

Naturally, Ubisoft has pulled the leaked content from various social media platforms, though you’ll probably be able to find them in some corners of the internet. If you manage to discover the leaked footage, it’s perhaps worth keeping in mind that it is apparently taken from a closed test, so it might not be a proper representation of the full game.

Previously Ubisoft had released an official trailer for of The Crew Motorfest with its announcement in January 2023. The trailer is very cinematic, so it will be nice to see what the game looks like in action next week.

Ubisoft Forward will take place next week Monday, 12 June 2023 at 6pm UK time/10am PDT/7pm CEST.

The Crew Motorfest will be released sometime this year for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
