ARC Raiders gamers can nab DLC just by playing free FPS that's highly rated

The end of ARC Raiders’ fourth season is upon us. But while you’re rushing to finish the latest batch of weekly trials, you’re missing out on securing an awesome freebie.
ARC Raiders players can secure some free cosmetic DLC for a limited-time in another game by ARC Raiders developer Embark Studios.
The Finals is ARC Raiders’ predecessor, described as “the world’s first dynamism shooter”.
It’s an FPS with a game show twist as players fight in fully-destructible arenas in search of fame and fortune.

If you haven’t yet given The Finals a whirl, you need to put that right immediately as it’s free-to-play and boasts a respectable Metacritic score of 80.
It's not quite ARC Raiders, but you’ll most definitely see the solid foundations upon which Embark built.
If you do play The Finals, it’s well worth linking an Embark ID to both your ARC Raiders and The Finals accounts as that’s how you’ll nab the free DLC in question.
Players who do just that can secure the ARC Raiders themed Voltage Marauder Set to use within The Finals.
It’s not a life-changing freebie, but they do say you should never look a gift horse in the mouth, plus it’s simply a nice way of displaying your love for Embark’s most recent hit.
The free cosmetic DLC has been available for some time, but Embark recently took to The Finals’ Twitter/X account to announce that’ll be changing soon.

They wrote that it’s the “last chance” to grab the skin but didn’t provide any further information so you’re much better securing it sooner rather than later.

As for ARC Raiders, Trials Season 5 kicks off on Tuesday June 7.
“We hear your feedback Raiders, and the next season of Trials is loaded with a variety of new objectives for you to grind out,” the team said in a blog post.
“From damaging specific ARC with certain weapons (snitches get stitches), to absorbing Pop explosions to the face, the next season will bring fresh new ways to test your loadout, alongside a selection of returning challenges.”
The season will run until September 30 with the trials you complete earning you “variations of the Scorta outfit based on your final placement”.
If you reach the rank of Hotshot or Cantina Legend, you’ll unlock exclusive red and blue colours variants.
The following additional cosmetics will also be available later in the season: Green Bruiser backpack, Pressure Gauge backpack charm, Hydraulic Pump backpack attachment, and the ‘Come at me’ emote.
Despite Embark seemingly having its hands full with ARC Raiders, The Finals is still being supported with its upcoming eleventh season, Galaxy Masters, going live on Thursday July 9.
This sci-fi themed season promises to introduce a reworked melee system, the new Cashout map, as well as Cashout bot matches for new players.
