Arc Raiders Drops Highly-Requested Update, Brings Back Beloved Map

It's Christmas all over again!

Arc Raiders has dropped its February Update patch notes, and with it comes some much-needed details on a brand new mode players have been asking about for ages.

The PvP nature of Arc Raiders is what makes the game so infuriatingly moreish.

I’ve never felt rage quite like when a player stabs me in the back to steal all my loot. On the other hand, when I pull off a heist and extract all that tasty loot, there’s no better feeling. Me reaping, me sowing, et cetera.

But a new event - Shared Watch - is seemingly encouraging us to link arm-in-arm with these snakes, in a Player vs Enemy (PvE) experience that might give the game a needed shake-up.

What is Arc Raiders Shared Watch?

In its latest patch notes, the Arc Raiders team explained a bit more about what we can expect from Shared Watch. This is your chance to team up with the players who stabbed you in the back in the fight against the machines.

“What happens topside, stays topside - Raiders have to leave their grudges at the tubes.

But Speranza also has a conscience. While Raider violence can’t be totally controlled, Celeste is keen to remind us why we took refuge under the dust of the Rust Belt; and that just because we live in the dirt, we don’t always have to act like it.

The Shared Watch is an annual holiday that reminds us of the true enemy, by celebrating those that look out for their fellow Raiders. Tolerate, team-up, or take out some ARC - it’s all in the spirit of the Shared Watch.”

The announcement was made in a low-key post from the devs on X/Twitter. Check it out below!

The Shared Watch Event starts today and ends on 24 February.

Players will earn merits from destroying, assisting and damaging ARC and earn rewards. No merits will be earned from PvP encounters. Bring a friend or bring a stranger, but above all, bring enough ammo to make sure the machines notice you first.

What Else is In the Arc Raiders February Update 1.15.0?

The second biggest thing in the map is the return of the Cold Snap Map Condition. Winter’s not done with the Rust Belt, first introduced in December 2025.

It reminds me of this Arc Raiders meets Snowpiercer freebie we found a few days ago. One for the movie buffs.

It’s high risk, high reward. Frostbite damage will make your trip topside a short one if you don’t seek shelter, but for those who do brave the tundra - there’s increased loot value at stake!

You can still collect Candleberries, but they are no longer tied to any event. You can also collect, and throw, snowballs!

It feels like Christmas all over again with the latest Arc Raiders update.
