What's better than having one version of Spider-Man? Well, having two. And that's what you get with Marvel's Spider-Man 2, which is very handily reduced in a Black Friday deal on Amazon.

Normally coming in at £69.99, it's got a 57% reduction, taking the price down to just £30 for this PlayStation 5 favourite.

Avid fans will know you can switch between the two playable Spider-Men, Peter Parker and Miles Morales, as you travel across Marvel's New York landscape. The game has a bigger world to explore than ever before, with two new boroughs added - Brooklyn and Queens.

And there are great new features on offer, like Peter Parker’s new symbiote abilities or Miles' bio-electric venom powers. Combat is taken to the next level thanks to some high-tech equipment, which really adds some depth and variety to gameplay. You'll face up against some classic villains, including Venom, the Lizard and Kraven the Hunter - who's soon to be given his own film starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

When Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was released in 2023 by Insomniac Games it received some hefty praise - and that has held strong.

With a 4.8 out of 5 star average rating from over 2,000 reviews on Amazon, you can tell it's still widely regarded.

One five-star reviewer said: "The graphics and character models have slightly improved from its predecessor, the web swinging and combat have improved and expanded with new animations and abilities and the game is filled with hours of side content". Another person said: "This is a fantastic game. It is beautifully presented, the story is good and the game mechanics are nigh on perfect. A must for any Spider-man or Marvel fan."

While a third reviewer added: "Very happy with Spider-Man 2, loved the first one and this is even better."

Some who played it though didn't have glowing feedback, with one reviewer noting: "I expect it to be more polished. I really feel games are prematurely released these days with far too little testing beforehand, which is a shame." Another player commented: "Great game but felt slightly shorter than the first Spider-Man game."

If you wanted to try your hand at another Marvel game, you could try the Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection for PS4, which is £37.99 from Currys. Alternatively, if you have a Nintendo Switch you could try the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes game, which is £11.99 from Currys.

But for a cult favourite that's won the hearts of so many gamers, now's the perfect chance to try Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
