The Grand Theft Auto VI hype is at an absolute fever pitch and fans seemingly have no interest in anything Rockstar is doing, other than releasing that game to them as soon as possible.
Assuming there are no further delays, and that's by no means a foregone conclusion, GTA VI is set to release on 26 May, 2026, which isn't too far away, but it's still nowhere near soon enough for some.
In a post on the official Rockstar Games X/Twitter profile, the developer confirmed that car dealer Simeon is currently paying big bonuses in GTA Online and, while that's great for those who are still actively enjoying the multiplayer, a lot of people are apathetic are best.
"You guys are really annoying me with GTA Online. Make the sixth part faster," one read. "Man when does the rollout of GTA VI details, hands on with journalists and all that start? I'm tired of seeing GTA Online shit," another added.

The comments were full of shouty demands for more news on the next game, another trailer or even the faintest hit at what's to come. That's all pretty unlikely though, with the developer remaining predictably tight-lipped on exactly what the game is going to be like.
They've even kept the game away from the warming embrace of Gamescom (despite publisher Take-Two Interactive having a sizeable booth at the show), to reduce the chance of information leaking ahead of its allotted time. If you've seen that post on social media about a GTA VI preview at the show, it's fake and should be ignored.
The calls are growing louder at the moment particularly because of the approaching 12th anniversary for GTA V on 17 September. Until the masses are finally placated with some extra news or additional gameplay, expect those calls to get more and more exasperated.
